The Disney World②

In the second day of the Disney World, my friends and I went to the Hollywood Studio and Epcot.

The Last Game!!

Yesterday, I had the last game of the lacrosse in my Keio life.
It means that it was also the last game as the season sports in my life.

We went to the Ursuline academy because it was an away game.
They were very tuff team so we lost the game but I think all of our team played as possible as we could and it was nice game.

After the game, all juniors and sophomores said “thank you” for us (seniors) in the bus.
I hadn’t felt that the season was over until that time however I felt sad suddenly when I heard the words because I realized I never play with this team again at the Keio.

At the Keio, we ordered the Japanese food that we call “Tanto” as the little party.
I had a “Hiyashi Chuka” at the first time that I ordered to the Tanto.
It was good and I felt it was like the summer. (Because people eat “Hiyashi Chuka”in the summer generally.)

It was nice end of the season and now, I am looking forward to have the banquet.

“Thank you for the great season to everyone in our team and Mr. Consolati!!”

Disney World ①

Last week, 12th grade students went to the Disney World in Florida.
At the first day, we left Keio at 4:45a.m….
I don’t like to wake up early so I didn’t sleep at the night.
I slept all time during the bus and airplane so I didn’t remember how long I took to Florida.

It was too hot for me when I got to Florida.
We went to the hotel that named the Port Orleans and went to the Magic Kingdom as soon as we can.

The Magic Kingdom looked like Tokyo Disney Land, but some rides were different.
We didn’t enough time because we had to go back to the hotel for our baggage until 7:00p.m. even we got to the Magic Kingdom at 2:00p.m.

At first, we rode the Splash Mountain that was a roller coaster with water and the Big Thunder Mountain that was also a roller coaster.
Our group had 10 people so we could ride one coaster only ourselves.

After riding coasters, we went to the Haunted Mansion that was a kind of horror building.
The attraction is also in Tokyo Disney Land but I never ride it.
So I was looking forward to ride it and it was nice ride.
(But my friends said the Tokyo Disney land’s one is better than that one….)
We also rode the Pirates of the Caribbean that a boat went to around the world of the movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean.

We also wanted to ride the Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin but we didn’t have enough time.
(The Space Mountain was fixed so it couldn’t be ridden.)

At the dinner, we went to the Crystal Palace that was the character dining of the Pooh and his friends and we can take pictures with them.
However we didn’t enough time here, too.
So we ate the food as soon as we could and took pictures with characters except Pooh (we couldn’t have time to take pictures with him.) and run to the bus station.

I didn’t remember how the taste of foods were but it was fun at the first day!!

I’m looking forward to go to the Disney World and Universal Studio.
My friends and I resurveyed to the restaurant in the Disney World which is one of the famous restaurant as the character dining.
Character dining is the restaurant which Disney characters come during the eating.

I am looking forward to go to the Disney World!!

New Team

In this Friday, I have the first game of the lacrosse with Byram Hills high school that is the away game.
But the lacrosse team had the problem for playing.

The team had only 13 players that are just members to play, but Hiroko who is the 9th grade left the team because of her grade.
So we had to need at least one more person until Friday for playing the game!
Yu and Miho who are the captains asked the managers to be players however they couldn’t change it.
We knew other students don’t play the lacrosse when we didn’t have enough players and asked them to join the team before the season started.
The captains worked hard for the team for four months and we got enough people just 2 weeks ago (and we could play this season), so I really wanted one more player!

Yesterday, the captains and I asked Eri who is the 12th grade and one of the managers of the girls’ softball team.
We remembered that she said she would join the team if the team has to get the player anyway, then she decided to play the lacrosse.
I felt sorry for Eri and the softball team but I am really happy about that she joined the team!!
She started to practice the lacrosse tomorrow and has the game on Friday.

I hope it will be sunny on the day and all members of the team have nice season….

the Ski Trip②

The next day, I had a big trouble.
Hanako, Miho and I tried to ski in the blue course that is harder than the green course.
At first, we went to the course together but Hanako didn’t want to ski one of the blue course so she went to another course which is the green one then Miho and I skied only ourselves.

It happened when we skied only two.
Suddenly, my ski board came off from my left foot!
However it was the middle of the slope and I skied faster than other places.
I didn’t have enough space to fell down for stopping so the ski board on the right foot still skied high pace.
I crushed into the tree and the tree was broken up….
I couldn’t move at the time because I hit the left leg and it hurt.
I called Miho to be help me but she didn’t come.
(She already went through the place and didn’t notice me.)
However some people who watched the crushing from the lift came to me and helped.
They were really kind for me and pulled me when I tried to stand from the ground.
They asked me that I can ski only myself but I felt better when I just attacked into the tree so I said ok to them.

After that, I skied the course only myself and met Hanako and Miho at the middle of the course.
Then we skied together but the course was too long for my left leg.
We had to ride another lift to go back to our home lodge.
When I rode the lift, it was the hardest time for me because the lift didn’t have any footholds and my injured left foot pulled down by the weight of the ski board.
I checked my leg in the lodge; it was swelling so I couldn’t ski anymore.
I stayed the lodge with Hanako all of the day. (Because she felt tired so much.)
We went back the hotel earlier than other people and had a hot shower.

At the night, we made the Siratama which is Japanese kind of pudding and had it with the Anko (the bean paste) and the Kurogoma-Kinako (the soybean flour with black sesame).
It was so delicious and I ate all of it soon.

Then we made

the Ski Trip

On the holidays, I went to the ski trip in the Killington for 3 days.
It was the first and last time that I went to the trip of Keio.
I began to ski when I was six years old, but I didn’t go skiing for these 6 years.
So I was looking forward to the trip and also little worried about it.

The students who went to the trip left the Keio at Friday 4:00p.m. so we had to prepare the bags before the day.
The bus drove for five or six hours that was too long time for me….
The teacher showed us the movie which was “Armageddon” and it was so nice movie!
In the movie, the father and his daughter’s boyfriend (and their friends) went to the space to save the Earth from meteors.
However some of their friends were dead by the accidents and one of them had to leave the space to break the meteor with him.
The boyfriend was chosen the role but the father decided to leave there in place of the boyfriend for his daughter and her boyfriend.
The scene of last talking of the father and daughter was so sad….
It was kind of sad movie but it was one of the best movies that I have seen.
I was crying during watching the movie. (I hadn’t done it for a long time.)

After we got the hotel, we had some pizzas and watched the horror movie that it called “the Prom night”.
The pizzas were good but the movie wasn’t so scared.
We went to the bed early because we had to wake up early for skiing.

The next day, Miho, Hanako, Miss. Mikami and I skied the green course which was the easy course for beginners in the morning.

In the afternoon, I was skiing with Miho, Emily, Yurie, Risa, Kuniko, Azusa and Mr. Kudoin the blue course which was the middle level.
Yurie and Emily wore the costumes of “Pikachu” so they were very popular for other skiers and snowboarders, especially for kids.
Moreover Emily is the snowboarder so she looked like “the surfing Pikachu” when she was skating.

At the night, My roommates ( Risa, Hanako and Miho) and I had the Oden.
We also got the Yakisoba and Okonomiyaki that made by other 12th grade girls.
They were so nice and we watched other horror movie that named “the Shutter” with Miss. Mikami.
It was too scared for me so I couldn’t move until end of the movie.

I thought I couldn’t sleep at that time but I went to bed earlier than my roommates.
